He completed his residency in family practice at Crozer Keystone Health System in Springfield, Pennsylvania, and he completed a fellowship in sports medicine at San Jose Medical Center in San Jose, California.
Dr. Marr is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine with a certificate in sports medicine. He is affiliated with the Surgical Institute of Reading, Tower Health Reading Hospital, and Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center.
He’s a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine, and the American Medical Association.
Outside of his work with Commonwealth Orthopaedic Associates, he has served as a team physician for numerous professional, collegiate, and other sports organizations, including the Exeter Township School District, Muhlenberg School District & Daniel Boone. He is also the head team physician for the Reading “Fightin’ Phils”, along with the medical team consultant for the Philadelphia Phillies.
